To help ensure safe and efficient carline pickups,

a Sydney teacher and mum created a Carline Identification system. 

 

CarID's open down from the passenger side visor so names are visible 30m from the pick up point. This enables staff to have students assembled in pick-up order, ready to board and continue out of the zone.

 

This uniform name display has cut carline waiting times in half and noticeably reduced traffic congestion around schools.

Our CarID kits are designed to last from Kindy to Year 6, a one time investment for each family. Details are easily updated with a new DL insert,

also available online.

We introduced Sign Safe Visors to our school community 2 years ago to reduce congestion around the Prep school. Car-IDs enable the smooth and safe running of car-line in the afternoons as they are clear and easy for teachers to read. They eliminate the difficulty and distraction of no sign or just holding one up briefly. As a teacher, I would love to see Car-IDs made compulsory

at all car-line schools.
